Bar Success Intervention Grant Program

About this program

AccessLex Institute offers the Bar Success Intervention Grant Program to support scalable, replicable interventions that improve bar examination passage rates among law students and graduates most at risk of failure. Awards range from $150,000 to $300,000 for projects lasting 12–24 months.

Applicants must target at-risk populations or institutions with ultimate bar passage rates below 70%, establish measurable goals, and provide a rigorous evaluation plan that tracks participants through bar examination outcomes. Preference may be given to projects incorporating treatment/control comparisons, sustainability plans, and institutional collaboration; grant funds may support Helix Bar Review but not non-Helix commercial bar preparation materials.
