Battery Division Student Research Award

About this program

The Electrochemical Society’s Battery Division offers the annual Battery Division Student Research Award to recognize promising student engineers and scientists conducting research in electrochemical power sources. Each of up to two recipients receives a framed certificate, $1,000, complimentary student registration for the ECS fall meeting, and up to $1,000 in travel support. Applicants must be current ECS and Battery Division members, enrolled at a college or university by the nomination deadline, and cannot receive another ECS award or grant in the same year. Nominations are due October 15–January 15 and must include academic transcripts, an achievements record, a research statement, and a supervisor recommendation.
