BDIA and BSODR Research Grant

About this program

The British Dental Industry Association (BDIA) and the British Society for Oral and Dental Research (BSODR) are jointly offering a £5,000 research grant to enable BDIA member companies to access UK-based research that drives innovation or addresses business challenges. The award supports partnerships between BDIA companies and BSODR-affiliated researchers, with expected presentation of outcomes (oral/poster) at the next available BSODR conference. Eligibility is limited to BSODR member researchers who respond to anonymised research opportunities circulated by BSODR in January 2026 and who complete the BSODR application form; membership will be verified. Proposals are assessed by appointed expert reviewers against defined criteria, and the selected company and research institution must agree timelines and intellectual property arrangements or the funding will be retained for future applications.
