Benedict R. Lucchesi Young Scientist Travel Award in Cardiac Pharmacology

The American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) Division for Cardiovascular Pharmacology offers the Benedict R. Lucchesi Young Scientist Travel Award to support early-career investigators in cardiac pharmacology with complimentary registration, up to $1,000 toward travel to the ASPET Annual Meeting, an invitation to present in a cardiovascular-sponsored session, and an award certificate. The award is offered biennially in odd-numbered years; nominations open Summer 2026 and receipt of an abstract submitted to the ASPET Annual Meeting is required for consideration. Eligible candidates must be within 10 years of their PhD, be ASPET members in good standing, and be the first and presenting author on an abstract to the Annual Meeting; nominations may be self‑ or externally submitted. Required nomination materials include a CV and bibliography, a 150‑word biographical summary, representative publications, a one‑page statement of anticipated benefit, one letter of reference, and a draft abstract; candidates may not receive more than one ASPET award in the same year and certain officers are ineligible.
