Best Negative Data Prize in Preclinical Neuroscience

The European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP) awards the biennial Best Negative Data Prize in Preclinical Neuroscience to recognize published negative or unexpected preclinical findings, with the winner receiving travel and accommodation support to attend the ECNP Congress. Eligible submissions must be nominated by the first or corresponding author and consist of a full-length, non-clinical paper written in English, published or accepted in a peer-reviewed journal indexed in Web of Science and Scopus, with publication date no earlier than 1 January 2022; reviews are ineligible and methods must be reported in detail. Authors must be confident that technical failure does not explain the negative results and be willing to share raw data if requested; nominations are made by submitting the paper PDF and a motivation statement via the ECNP nomination form, with the deadline shown on the announcement as 18 May at 09:00 CEST (year not specified).
