Best Practice Awards

About this program

The Pediatric Pharmacy Association offers up to two annual Best Practice Awards recognizing innovative, creative, cost-effective pharmacy programs, systems, or projects that advance pediatric pharmacy practice. Award recipients receive annual meeting registration and must present a 15-minute platform presentation and poster; selected abstracts are published in the Journal of Pediatric Pharmacology and Therapeutics. Applicants from academic, institutional, or ambulatory care settings may submit individual or collaborative projects through the PPA abstract portal, including a 450-word summary addressing the program’s background, development, methods, timeline, outcomes, and supporting figures or data. Submissions open October 1 and close December 3, and projects are evaluated for innovation, measurable impact, replicability, and clarity.
