Beveridge Family Research Grants in Western Hemisphere History

The American Historical Association offers Beveridge Family Research Grants of up to $1,000 to support research in progress on the history of the Western Hemisphere, including the United States, Canada, and Latin America. Funds may cover travel, archival and library access, reproduction costs, research assistance, childcare, and other related expenses. Applicants must be AHA members, with preference given to advanced doctoral students, non-tenured faculty, and unaffiliated scholars with specific research needs; applicants may receive no more than $1,500 in combined AHA research grants over five years. Applications require a CV, a project statement of up to 750 words, a one-page bibliography, and budget information; the deadline is February 15, 2026.
