Bin-Only Grant

About this program

BizRecycling Minnesota offers the Bin-Only Grant to provide up to $2,500 in recycling and organics (food scrap) bins and equipment to help small businesses and nonprofits start or improve collection programs. Eligible applicants are commercial entities (private, nonprofit, institutional) with annual gross revenue under $1,000,000, a physical building in Ramsey or Washington County, and active/in good standing with the Minnesota Secretary of State; individuals, home-based businesses, government organizations, schools/colleges, and multi-unit residential buildings are ineligible. Applicants must schedule an on-site assessment by a BizRecycling Recycling Expert, who will assess needs, recommend improvements, and submit the grant application on the applicant’s behalf; applications are accepted on a rolling basis and approved materials are shipped directly to the business.
