About this program
The Society of Physics Students (SPS) offers the Blake Lilly Prize to recognize chapters and individuals whose outreach activities positively influence schoolchildren and the public’s attitudes toward physics. Winners receive public recognition and two books to support chapter development, with no more than one prize awarded per zone annually. Eligible applicants are SPS chapters in good standing with a student project leader who is an SPS member, or individual SPS members; applicants must submit an SPS Chapter Report by June 15 documenting their outreach activity and its impact.
