About this program

Blood Cancer United’s Translational Research Program (TRP) funds projects that accelerate promising blood-cancer discoveries toward clinical application, supporting translationally ready small-molecule, cellular and immunotherapy programs in hematologic malignancies. Awards may be up to $250,000 USD per year (maximum $750,000 total for three years), with indirect costs capped at 10% and no more than 40% of direct costs for post‑graduate professional salaries. Applicants must demonstrate translational readiness—in vivo proof of concept is required for small molecules and strongly encouraged for cellular/immunotherapies (select in vitro POC using patient‑derived samples may be acceptable in limited cases); projects should target diseases of high unmet need (e.g., AML, CLL, lymphomas, MM). Submit a Letter of Intent by October 16, 2026 (3:00 PM ET) and full application by January 22, 2027 (3:00 PM ET); a Snowdome Foundation co‑funding opportunity is available for eligible Australian investigators.
