Boyd-Scott Graduate Research Award

About this program

The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) offers the Boyd-Scott Graduate Research Award to recognize excellence in conducting and presenting research that advances sustainable engineering of biological systems. The competition includes master’s and doctoral categories, with cash prizes of $500, $300, and $200 for the top three finishers in each category; finalists also receive waived registration for the ASABE Annual International Meeting. Applicants must be ASABE members and submit an entry form with a properly formatted research paper of no more than 20 pages by March 15. Submissions must follow ASABE refereed-journal guidelines and be submitted as a PDF by email to the awards administrator.
