Brian Van Tine Early Career Travel Award (BVT Early Career)

About this program

The Brian Van Tine Early Career Travel Award, offered by SARC (Sarcoma Alliance for Research through Collaboration), provides up to $1,000 USD to support travel for early-career investigators to attend SARC-sponsored events (SARC Semiannual Meetings before ASCO and during CTOS), SASS/SASS-y, and Sarcoma P31 activities. Applicants must be currently in training or within five years of an initial junior faculty appointment and must demonstrate commitment to a sarcoma career via a sarcoma-related publication or by working on a sarcoma-based grant. Applications are reviewed by the SARC CEO/CSO/CMO; submit at least two months before anticipated travel (ASCO deadline Mar 29, CTOS Sep 18, P31 Oct 14) by emailing sarc@sarctrials.org with subject line "BVT Early Career" and attaching the completed application form.
