Bridge Funding for Disrupted Neurodegenerative Research Grant Program (BFDN)

About this program

The Alzheimer’s Association, Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research and Robertson Foundation offer Bridge Funding for Disrupted Neurodegenerative Research grants to sustain early-career investigator-led research on Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and related disorders affected by disruptions in U.S. federal funding. Awards provide up to $250,000 for 3–12 months to support salaries and other direct research costs. Applicants must be NIH early-stage investigators or within seven years of ESI designation and hold or have held a disrupted U.S. federal grant affected by delayed review, termination or reduction, priority misalignment, or reapproval gaps. Institutions must provide cost sharing of up to 25% of the requested budget, and applicants must submit an LOI through ProposalCentral by one of the listed round deadlines.
