Bridging investments in abortion and contraception research (2026)

The Society of Family Planning is offering the 2026 Bridging Investments in Abortion and Contraception Research to provide short-term funding to resume or complete halted projects. The award specifically supports the completion or partial completion of NIH grants that were terminated and focus on abortion and/or contraception research in the United States. Applicants should be investigators of terminated NIH grants addressing these topics; proposals are accepted on a rolling basis and are evaluated monthly.
