About this program

The British Society for Geomorphology (BSG) offers up to £500 to sponsor conferences, conference sessions, or related events that advance its missions in geomorphology, supporting items such as keynote speakers, breakout groups, workshops, and social/publicity activities (not individual attendance). Applications are assessed on quality of dissemination, value for money and fit with BSG missions, with preference for events planning a publication or a Special Issue in Earth Surface Processes and Landforms. Organisers whose events align with BSG’s missions must apply via the online form after logging into their BSG account (grant availability may depend on membership type); awardees must acknowledge BSG and display its logo, ensure sponsored speakers use BSG/Wiley slides/logos, coordinate publicity with BSG, submit a conference report (typically by a postgraduate) for the BSG website/newsletter, and claim the award within six months of notification.
