Bueding and von Brand Lectureship (Call for Nominations - 2027)

American Society of Parasitologists invites nominations for the Bueding and von Brand Lectureship to honor major research contributions to the biochemistry, molecular biology, and/or pharmacology of parasitic helminths; the lecturer will give a major address at the ASP Annual Meeting and receive an honorarium, commemorative plaque, and up to $1,000 for travel/accommodations. The lectureship is awarded in odd-numbered years (next presentation 2027) and the 2027 nomination deadline is 22 January 2027. Nominations must be submitted by ASP members and include a primary nomination with the nominee’s CV and a summary of contributions plus a minimum of two seconding letters that evaluate the nominee’s scientific work. Nominees need not be ASP members and there is no age limit.
