Butts-Whiting Award

About this program

The Association of College Unions International (ACUI) offers the Butts-Whiting Award to honor outstanding leaders whose careers and contributions have significantly advanced the college union and student activities movement. The award recognizes accomplishments through ACUI, on campus, and in the broader community, with one recipient honored annually at ACUI’s conference when awarded. Nominees must have at least 10 years of professional experience in the college union and student activities movement, remain active in the field, and not be a previous recipient. Eligible nominees should demonstrate prominence, integrity, leadership, accomplishment, and sustained loyalty to the movement; nominations are due November 20.
