CAG Early Career Educator Award

About this program

The Canadian Association of Gastroenterology (CAG) offers the Early Career Educator Award to recognize outstanding contributions to gastroenterology education by early-career CAG members. Eligible nominees must be within ten years of their first academic appointment, hold an appointment at a Canadian university, hospital, or research institute, and be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant resident; both nominators and nominees must have been CAG members in good standing for at least three years. Nominations are submitted via an online form (must be completed in a single session) and require a Letter of Support and the nominee's CV; submissions are due by September 30 (11:59 PM ET) and late entries are considered the following year. Applications are reviewed by CAG Education Affairs with final approval by the Board; only the recipient is notified and will be presented and expected to accept the award at the CDDW™ Opening and Awards Ceremony.
