Call for Fellows Applications (APA Fellow status via STP, Division 2)

About this program

The Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP, APA Division 2) invites STP members who are also APA members to apply for APA Fellow status based on “unusual and outstanding contribution or performance in the field of psychology” with national or international impact, especially contributions to the teaching of psychology; applications from underrepresented and diverse backgrounds are encouraged. Eligible applicants are STP members who are APA members, and current APA Fellows from other divisions who have been STP members for two consecutive years (evaluated under STP criteria). Initial applicants must submit an electronic CV, supporting documentation, and at least three endorsement letters from current APA Fellows; current APA Fellows applying via Division 2 should submit a CV, names of two Division 2 Fellows who support the application, and a 1–2 page statement describing how criteria are met. All materials must be submitted via the APA Online Application Platform by December 31 (year unspecified); applicants and endorsers must be current APA members/fellows, and inquiries may be sent to fellows@teachpsych.org.
