CAMWS Teacher Training Initiative Partnership Program

About this program

The Classical Association of the Middle West and South (CAMWS) offers up to $250 for partnerships between K–12 schools and colleges or universities to promote careers in Classics and Latin teaching through visits, outreach, or mentorship. Awards include a $100 honorarium and up to $150 for travel and related expenses, with no more than two partnerships funded annually. Applications must include a one-page activity plan confirming participant commitments and a brief budget; at least one partner must be a current CAMWS member. Applications are due February 1 and must be submitted to CAMWS’s Committee for the Promotion of Latin and Greek.
