Canadian Section Student Support Grant

About this program

The AOCS Canadian Section Student Support Grant supports graduate students in presenting their research at the AOCS Annual Meeting and engaging with the Canadian Section and broader Society. Up to six grants are awarded annually, providing recipients with a certificate, complimentary student meeting registration and Canadian Section meal ticket, and an opportunity to present in the technical program. Applicants must be graduate students at a Canadian university who have not received their degree or begun career employment before May of the presentation year and have not previously received the grant. Applications require a 300–500-word statement, the current meeting abstract, and the applicant’s graduate program and year of study.
