Offered by advocates of the American System of Forward Riding and linked to the ANRC Forward Riding Proficiency program, the Captain Vladimir S. Littauer Continuing Education Grants provide targeted financial support to riders, coaches, and trainers for advancing equestrian education (e.g., school riding programs, clinics, individual training, or competition). Applicants must be enrolled in the ANRC Forward Riding Proficiency Certificate Program and have earned a Level I, II, or III certificate. Candidates submit a written essay describing their experience and goals and participate in an oral interview; awards are distributed quarterly (deadlines Jan 15, Apr 15, Jul 15, Oct 15) with grants of $500 for Level I, $800 for Level II, and $1,200 for Level III.
