Caregivers ACT Attendance Travel Grant

About this program

The Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP) offers the Caregivers ACT Attendance Travel Grant, a $500 award to help current STP members cover caregiving-related expenses (e.g., care provider transportation, accommodations, and caregiving fees) incurred while attending the in-person Annual Conference on Teaching (ACT). Applicants must be current STP members who are caregivers or require caregiving support to attend, be the only caregiver in their family applying, intend to travel to the in-person ACT conference, and maintain membership through grant receipt; priority is given to those who have not recently received STP travel or conference attendance grants. Applications—submitted via the STP website (login required)—should include basic demographics, a description of caregiving needs, and disclosure of recent STP travel/caregiver grants; applications are due by June 15 with recipients announced by July 15, and awardees must submit a brief (≈100–200 word) post-conference report when requesting reimbursement.
