CASES Conference Grants

About this program

Chartered Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (CASES) offers ten CASES Conference Grants to cover two‑day conference registration (pro‑rated for one‑day attendance) to help presenting authors attend the CASES Conference—five grants for CASES members and five for CASES Student/Graduate members. Applicants must be the presenting author of a free communication, poster, or "5 slides in 5 minutes" presentation and must indicate their wish to apply on the online abstract submission form, providing brief statements (150 words each) on CASES engagement and financial need or on professional/personal development as specified. Professional applicants must have been CASES members since 1 June 2024 and Student/Graduate applicants since 1 June 2025, and applicants must not have received a CASES Conference Grant in the past three years. Applications are assessed by the CASES EDI Advisory Group (results within eight weeks of the abstract deadline); successful recipients must self‑register and submit a claim form with proof of registration within four weeks of the award and comply with the grant terms or face rescission and repayment.
