CCCC Assistance Fund for Contingent Faculty (travel awards)

The Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC), a program of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), offers the CCCC Assistance Fund for Contingent Faculty, providing $750 travel awards to support contingent faculty attending the CCCC Annual Convention (recipients receive complimentary registration instead if the convention is held online-only). The number of awards each year depends on member donations (CCCC matches donations up to $5,000). Eligible applicants are contingent faculty at two- and four-year colleges and universities who reside more than 250 miles from the convention site and must complete the online application (name, email, address) by December 31, 2026. Recipients are chosen at random in January, may not receive a CCCC Professional Equity Project grant in the same year, and applicants not selected receive weighted priority in subsequent years.
