CCCC Research Impact Award

About this program

The Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC), affiliated with the National Council of Teachers of English, presents the annual Research Impact Award for an empirical research publication that most advances the organization’s mission or the needs of the profession. Eligible publications for the 2027 award must have been published in 2025 or 2026. The nominee and nominator—whether author, editor, publisher, or reader—must be a CCCC and/or NCTE member at the time of nomination, and nominations must include a brief statement of the publication’s professional contribution. Nominations are due July 15, 2026, and should be submitted to cccc@ncte.org.
