The Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC) offers the Richard Braddock Award to honor the author of the most outstanding article on writing or the teaching of writing published in the CCCC journal, *College Composition and Communication* (CCC), during the calendar year preceding the award. This annual award commemorates Richard Braddock, a distinguished educator from the University of Iowa, and recognizes excellence in scholarship related to composition and rhetoric. Eligibility is automatic for authors of refereed articles published in CCC during the specified period, with no nominations accepted. All eligible articles are automatically considered for this prestigious recognition.
