Central Minnesota “Difference Maker” Grants

About this program

The Central Minnesota Community Foundation offers “Difference Maker” grants of $10,000–$30,000 to support services that promote stable, long-term housing and reduce homelessness among individuals and families. Funded activities must serve residents of Benton, Stearns, and/or Sherburne Counties. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, schools, and government entities; applications are due online by March 31, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. The foundation generally does not fund individuals, multi-year requests, completed projects, debt retirement, event sponsorships, or activities serving religious or political purposes.
