CERA Best Paper Award

About this program

The Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) presents the CERA Best Paper Award to recognize a research paper using CERA survey data that was published in a peer-reviewed journal during the previous academic year. The CERA Steering Committee evaluates eligible papers based on novelty, methodological quality, audience interest, and potential to change practice; the winning paper is presented at the STFM Annual Spring Conference, and its lead author accepts the award for the research team. Eligible applicants are authors of qualifying CERA-based publications, although committee members with conflicts of interest are excluded from evaluating the relevant paper.
