Ceramic Art: Grants to Artists

About this program

The Craft Pottery Charitable Trust (established by the Craft Potters Association) offers Ceramic Art: Grants to Artists, providing awards of up to £1,500 to support studio-based ceramic practice and curatorial research in contemporary studio ceramics. Grants fund direct costs such as independent research and creation, prototype development, production of works for confirmed public exhibitions, promotional materials, residencies, and specialist professional development (workshops/training). Applicants must be British citizens or hold UK permanent residence (per UK Visas and Immigration) and meet the scheme’s professional artist/curator criteria, demonstrating specialised training, peer recognition, a sustained commitment to practice and at least two years of professional activity. Artists should have at least two public presentations of work in a professional context over a two‑year period, curators should have curated at least two relevant exhibitions/public presentations over two years, and applicants should email cpctgrants@gmail.com for application information.
