Chapter Activities Fund

About this program

The American Musicological Society’s Chapter Activities Fund provides partial support for events and programs organized by AMS chapters, with awards of up to $500 covering no more than 50% of total project costs. Eligible expenses include speaker fees, venues, travel, lodging, supplies, and direct program costs, and funds must be used within 12 months of award. Applications must be submitted by duly elected AMS chapter representatives in advance of the activity and include a purpose statement and itemized budgets for both requested and remaining costs. Chapters may receive funding only once in a 12-month period; the next deadline is August 3, 2026.
