Charles Rufus Morey Book Award

About this program

The College Art Association’s Charles Rufus Morey Book Award honors an especially distinguished book in the history of art published in English, with a long-standing reputation for recognizing major contributions to art-historical scholarship. Preference is given to single-author books and catalogues raisonnés, though major group studies and articles may also be considered. Publications of documents or inventories are eligible only when presented in the specific context of an exhibition, and all eligible works must be published in the English language.
