Charlotte Anderson Travel Award

European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN) offers the Charlotte Anderson Travel Award, a grant of up to EUR 5,000 to support young investigators/clinicians in Europe to visit another unit to learn a new technique, carry out a short project, or observe a different system; funds cover travel and accommodation but not attendance at courses, schools, symposia, or conferences. Applicants must be ESPGHAN members in good standing with less than ten years in the subspecialty, and the supervisor at the visited institution must also be an ESPGHAN member; the exchange must take place within Europe and be completed within one year of approval. Applications (letter of intent describing the visit, current CV, and a confirmation letter from the visited institution signed by the supervisor) are submitted to the ESPGHAN Office; selections are coordinated by the Treasurer and reviewed by Council. Awardees must submit a supervisor‑signed written report and a financial statement with receipts within one year for funds to be released.
