About this program

The American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST) offers a portfolio of grants to advance lung health globally by funding clinical and community-based research, education, and capacity-building—ranging from travel support for early-career clinicians to multi-year research and community impact awards. Award amounts and scopes vary (examples include free registration plus $1,000 travel for CHEST 2026, $15,000 community impact grants, and research awards from $30,000 to $150,000 over one to three years) and target topics such as COPD, sarcoidosis, sleep medicine, women’s lung cancer, bronchiectasis/NTM, and respiratory health equity.
