Chester A. Berry Scholar Award

About this program

The Association of College Unions International (ACUI) offers the Chester A. Berry Scholar Award to recognize outstanding, research-based writing related to college unions, student activities, and ACUI’s research agenda; the award includes a $500 cash prize. ACUI members are eligible to submit a 2,000–4,000-word original, well-researched manuscript with citations, practical implications, and no identifying information for anonymous review. Applicants must also commit to producing a research-focused article, educational session, or other ACUI resource within 18 months of receiving the award; nominations are due November 20.
