Childhood Cancer Survivorship Award

Children’s Cancer Research Fund offers the 2026 Healthy After Cancer: Childhood Cancer Survivorship Research Award to support interventions that prevent, reduce, or address late effects and improve the quality and length of life for childhood, adolescent, and young adult cancer survivors. Awards provide up to $125,000 annually for a maximum of 24 months; therapeutic approaches focused on treating active cancer are not eligible, while translational and observational survivorship research is encouraged. Applicants must be eligible to serve as principal investigators at a U.S.-based nonprofit academic, medical, or research institution, with at least 10% effort committed to the project; U.S. citizenship is not required. A Letter of Intent is required by April 24, 2026, and only one LOI may be submitted per PI per calendar year; invited full applications are due August 10, 2026.
