Children and Family Community Service Award

About this program

The American Psychoanalytic Association’s Council Committee on Child and Adolescent Psychoanalysis offers the Children and Family Community Service Award to recognize outstanding community-based programs applying child analytic principles. Eligible programs must provide direct services supporting children’s emotional and social development, use psychoanalytic developmental principles, and involve child psychoanalysts significantly in service delivery. Programs must also be established, widely accepted community resources; applications are due December 1 annually, with awards presented at the Association’s January national meeting.
