Children and Family Community Service Award

About this program

The American Psychoanalytic Association’s Council Committee on Child and Adolescent Psychoanalysis offers the Children and Family Community Service Award to recognize outstanding community-based programs using child analytic principles. Eligible programs must provide direct services that promote children’s emotional and social development, apply psychoanalytic developmental principles, substantially involve child psychoanalysts, and serve as well-established community resources. Applications are due December 1 annually, with the award presented at the Association’s January national meeting.
