Christensen Young Investigators Award

About this program

The Pediatric Pharmacy Association sponsors the Christensen Young Investigators Award, a $500 prize recognizing innovative research by early-career pediatric pharmacists (licensed five years or less, including residency) across clinical, quality improvement, education, and practice innovation areas. Applicants must submit a poster abstract through the association's submission portal, designate eligibility/interest, and meet the portal timeline (opens October 1, 2026; deadline December 3, 2026), with award notifications issued December 31, 2026. Up to five abstracts are selected as finalists on abstract quality; the Research Committee selects the winner based on the poster presentation at the Annual Meeting, and the recipient must give a 15-minute platform presentation and display a poster at the meeting.
