CIHR-INMD-CAG Early Career Researcher Partnership Prize

About this program

The Canadian Association of Gastroenterology (CAG), in partnership with CIHR’s Institute of Nutrition, Metabolism and Diabetes (INMD), awards the Early Career Researcher Partnership Prize to recognize outstanding basic and/or clinical research contributions in gastroenterology; the recipient is invited to present a lecture at Canadian Digestive Diseases Week (CDDW) and is honored at the CDDW Opening and Awards Ceremony. Eligibility requires applicants to be within ten years of their first academic appointment, hold an appointment at a Canadian university, hospital, or research institute, and be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant; nominators and nominees must have been CAG members in good standing for at least three years. Nominations are submitted via an online form (must be completed in one session) with a Letter of Support and the nominee’s CV, must be received by Sept 30 at 11:59 PM ET (year unspecified), and are reviewed by CAG Research Affairs with final selection by the Board; only the award recipient is notified.
