About this program
The National Council on Family Relations offers the biennial Cindy Winter Scholarship Award to recognize outstanding leadership and service in Family Science, providing a $250 travel award, up to $125 toward NCFR Annual Conference registration, and a plaque. Applicants must be current NCFR members with at least one year of membership and be undergraduate or graduate students or new professionals within five years of earning a terminal degree. Applicants must submit a CV, a statement describing their leadership and the award’s significance, and two letters of support; self-nominations and nominations by others are accepted. Applications are due May 22.
