City of Rockville Flood Mitigation Assistance Program

About this program

Chesapeake Bay Trust, in partnership with the City of Rockville, offers a Flood Mitigation Assistance Program providing matching reimbursement for property owners who have installed flood mitigation measures to protect individual residences and properties. The program reimburses up to 50% of approved costs, capped at $5,000 per applicant, and operates on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis with applications accepted online or by paper. Eligible applicants include residential property owners, nonprofits, commercial properties, and condominium/Homeowner’s Associations (applicant must be the property owner); eligible practices must have been installed after July 1, 2019 and prior to application. Applicants must submit invoices, receipts, photos, and a signed Property Owner Agreement, and certain projects may require permits or reviews by local agencies.
