About this program
The Psychonomic Society administers the Clifford T. Morgan Best Article Award to recognize the best paper published in each of its journals in the preceding year; one recipient from each journal receives a $1,000 prize and is honored at the Society’s Annual Meeting. Papers are selected by each journal during the summer and the chosen first authors are presented at the meeting. Eligible candidates are first authors of articles published in the last year in any Psychonomic Society journal, with selection determined by the journal editors. No separate application is required—nominations and selections follow each journal’s editorial process.
