Clinical Research Leadership Program

About this program

The American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) Institute’s Center for Leadership, Ethics & Equity offers the Clinical Research Leadership Program to develop grant management, research strategy, team leadership, mentoring, networking, and funding skills among clinical investigators. The 2027 cohort is limited to 30 participants and includes pre-course assignments, an in-person course in Washington, DC, June 4–6, 2027, and post-course online sessions, with no registration fee. Eligible applicants are ACG member physicians based in the United States who are 2–15 years beyond GI fellowship and have received non-trainee grant funding as a principal or co-principal investigator within the past 10 years. Applications, due September 14–November 13, 2026, must include an NIH biosketch, a 500-word personal statement, proof of funding, and a mentor or supervisor nomination form.
