CLL Global Research Foundation, a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity, funds one‑year research project grants to accelerate development of treatments, diagnostics, and monitoring tools for chronic lymphocytic leukemia and related leukemias/lymphomas, with priority for projects likely to impact clinical care within 2–3 years. Applications undergo independent peer review and Scientific Advisory Board evaluation, and awards include strict use‑of‑funds limits (institutional overhead capped at 5%, travel $3,000 per site, equipment $20,000 unless pre‑approved), quarterly institutional payments with the final 12.5% contingent on a 12‑month scientific progress report, and reporting and outreach expectations. Eligible applicants are M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent investigators affiliated with an accredited academic or research institution (domestic or international), may submit only one PI proposal per cycle, and must propose specific projects (not general lab support) with adequate infrastructure and patient access; IRB/IACUC and biohazard approvals are required before award activation, which must occur within three months of notification.
