About this program
The Coblentz Award, offered by the Coblentz Society and presented annually at the International Symposium on Molecular Spectroscopy (ISMS), recognizes an outstanding young molecular spectroscopist for exceptional contributions in molecular and vibrational spectroscopy. It is the Society’s original and most prestigious award, complementary to the Craver Award for applied analytical vibrational spectroscopy. Eligibility is limited to researchers under the age of 40, and recipients are selected from nominated candidates. Nominations are being accepted for the 2027 award.
