CODA Grant (Creating Outstanding Development in the musical Arts)

KMEA Fund offers the CODA Grant (Creating Outstanding Development in the musical Arts), a mini-grant of up to $300 for KMEA members to support creative classroom projects that enhance music curriculum; funds may not replace or supplant existing school-budgeted funds. Applicants must be KMEA members requesting classroom-use funds and must complete every field of the CODA Grant Application, providing a succinct title and a realistic project scope. Proposals are scored 50% on the project description/justification (including whether the district should fund it) and 50% on measurable student outcomes; if total project costs exceed $300, additional funding sources must be specified. Successful recipients must wait two calendar years before applying again.
