Committee on Early Career Psychologists (CECP) Initiative Award

About this program

Division 31’s Committee on Early Career Psychologists (CECP) Initiative Award grants $750 to a state, provincial, or territorial psychological association (SPTA) that implements exemplary activities engaging and sustaining early career psychologists in advocacy, leadership, or the practice of psychology. Nominations may be submitted by any member of an SPTA or by members of Division 31, and the submission deadline is January 31, 2026. Eligible applicants are SPTAs; winning associations are evaluated on criteria such as success recruiting and engaging ECP members, initiatives supporting professional and personal development, innovative educational offerings preparing members for the future of psychology, and success engaging ECPs in leadership roles.
