Community College Instructors ACT Attendance Travel Grant

About this program

The Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP) offers the Community College Instructors ACT Attendance Travel Grant, awarding $1,000 to help cover travel expenses for community college psychology instructors attending the in-person Annual Conference on Teaching (ACT); all reimbursable expenses must comply with STP’s Travel Reimbursement Guidelines. Applicants must be current STP members (membership maintained from application through grant receipt and final report), teach psychology at a community college, and intend to travel to the in-person ACT; applications require basic demographic information, a proposed travel budget, and disclosure of prior STP travel/conference grants. Priority is given to those who have not recently received STP travel or attendance grants, and STP encourages applications from members from underrepresented groups and those at minority-serving institutions; applications are due by June 15 with recipients announced by July 15, and grantees must submit a brief post-conference report (≈100–200 words) when requesting reimbursement.
