Community College Instructors ACT Attendance Travel Grant

About this program

The Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP) offers a $1,000 Community College Instructors ACT Attendance Travel Grant to help community college psychology instructors cover travel costs to attend STP’s in-person Annual Conference on Teaching (ACT). Applicants must be current STP members who teach psychology at a community college, intend to attend ACT in person, and maintain membership through grant receipt and submission of the final report. Application materials include basic demographic information, a proposed travel budget, and disclosure of prior STP travel or conference grants; priority is given to those who have not recently received such funding, and applicants from underrepresented groups and minority-serving institutions are encouraged. Applications are due June 15 with recipients announced by July 15; grant reimbursement requires a brief post-conference report (≈100–200 words) and compliance with STP’s Travel Reimbursement Guidelines.
